EBONIZED OVAL FRAME Circa 1940 An excellent little frame made in imitation of 19th Century frames for miniatures. Judging from the back, this frame was made in the Mid-20th Century. The bolection profile rises toward the center and then falls away again. The pristine surface is shiny black. The brass sight edge has oxidized with age.
