  • Early frame made to house a 6th plate case photograph, also used for painted miniatures. Frame composed of three moldings: the outer cap molding; an ogee molding; and the flat liner at the sight edge. The outside edges and the back of the frame have old matte black paint. Mitered corners. Rich color. Old finish.
  • Rabbet size 3 1/4" H x 3 1/4"W
  • Sight size 3" by 2 1/2"
  • Molding width 12 3/4
  • Molding height at outside edge 7/8
  • Condition: very good with some surface wear. Note the small flaw in the upper left corner, on the ogee molding close to the sight edge.
